We haven’t had much updates on the work yet since we were waiting for our supplies to come. so we worked on a canvas frame while we wait on the supplies.
do checkout my blog post on DIY Canvas frame where I did my first DIY with power tools. It felt so exciting to use the tools for the first time and they are absolutely so easy to use. If I can do it, I think anybody can do it 🙂

Apart from the frame, we did install our bamboo blinds in our living room and we just love the subtle wood look against our walls. Here is the link for the blinds I choose.
These shades are cordless shades and were quite easy to install. The video below helps you on how to install these shades for you.
We are so much in love with the wood look that we made some design enhancements in my living room as I wait for the material to come in. We have decided to add a false ceiling with plywood one one side and add some slats. More updates will come in next week. Meanwhile attaching some inspirations for my ceiling.
