I tried working on this thriftstore trunk a couple of times and nothing really worked on it. Tried bapu painting, traditional rangoli, tried some french stencils…they didn’t seem to create an impact I wanted to give it. I just repainted it to its original color and left it to rest while my son made it as a painting desk 😂🙆♀️. Magic happens when creative people get together. I had my friend stop by to plan their home makeover and the trunk got its day!!! I was so suprised to see that things matched up so instantly and we finished it in no time. Looks like it got its day now.
All I did was some random decoupage of fabric, placemat, and some paper.
