I used up my formal dining room as a formal living room with traditional indian decor and made it a pooja room and formal living room.
The only space I am left with is the breakfast nook. I absolutely had open space since 4 years and did not have any furniture in my breakfast nook just because I did not want to cramp the space with too much furniture.
Keeping the space in mind I wanted to have a super space saving breakfast/ dining nook with a small table. So I decided to go with a breakfast corner bench that can give us some breathing space around.
These are some of the inspirations pics from where I designed my nook.
In this post I am going to show a very simple model of dining bench with a modern twist.
Check out the things I have used for creating the breakfast bench:
- Sanded Pine Plywood sheets from homedepot
- Sander
- we precut the sizes we wanted for the bench from home depot.
- L metal brackets
Check out my videos youtube videos below for the breakfast nook bench created for oneroomchallenge.
You must be wondering where did I take my chairs and rug. Here are the sources.
We are now adding back support to the bench using cane.
Things you need for the cane back support:
- Sanded pine Plywood sheet from homedepot
- Cane webbing from Frank’s
- Krylon Black Spray paint
Have added the products in my amazon store front too.
