There are a lot of ways of how you can make ammavaru, but I recommend making ammavaru with one of the dolls we find in most stores. I have made a video on how to drape a saree to the doll and decorate with all accesories. The things I have used in this video are:
- Ammavaru doll
- Brass ammavaru face
- extra legs set with velvet covers
- 2 sarees of your choice
- Bhujalu
- Lotus hands
- Banaras crown that I made for my ammavaru.
I do sell this ammavaru face and other diety jwellery sets mentioned above on my store.
Note: I have tied my flowers to bhujalu and secured both to the dowels I fixed to the doll, this has been missed on the video.
