For those who landed on this page randomly, and you are wondering how I did my dining bench that’s shining on my pictures…please do checkout my previous post on DIY dining bench. So, since we are done with the bench we will now head out to create the dining table.
I got this crappy dining table from facebook marketplace but I was sure that a facelift would make it look amazing. I had plans of changing the legs and just use the table top since I needed a cleaner look with round top. We did not want to do it with plywood since its quite tricky to get the exact round circle and also the sides of the top wouldn’t be as clean with plywood even after we finish it with trim.
I wanted to create a modern look by adding reeded base and have resin table top for it with all black. This is the inspiration pictures I had in mind.
So we started with painting the table top first when we had the base on and then removed the base for making the new base. Checkout my full tutorial on youtube.

I really love the gold accents in this space and wanted to get a nice lighting. ABClighting have sponsored me a beautiful lighting for my nook and I just love the way it compliments my space.
