Indian vintage wall

I had a beautiful hand painted turquoise console table in my entryway. One day one of my followers gifted me her Veena asking me to repurpose it. Since then i had my heart on it on making it as my console.  After we made our studio room,  I finally got chance to move my console to my studio and put up the Veena.

I wanted to bring in dramatic look for the Veena and i decided to bring in traditional vibes to the wall. We chose to go with authentic kanchi pattu saree green and give the mango booti.

This is the color we chose for the wall. and adding some more sources I bought in US.

For the stenciling, I created my own stencil by cutting the mango shape I wanted and stenciled on the wall. Watch my YouTube video for complete tutorial.

I have got a lot of questions on Instagram and Facebook as in how did i fix my Veena to the wall.  So we used bike hooks and put up the Veena. Linked most of my sources above.

There was left over live edge that my friend gave us and the live edge added a total different dimension to the wall. This is one of the best feature walls i have ever worked on and have received most compliments on.
