This year, as I put together my Ammavaru, my mom’s wisdom about the power of sankalpam, intent, and manifestation echoed in my mind. It was an all-hands-on-deck situation, assembling her and working late into the night. I was on autopilot, adding the pieces one by one. Now, looking back, I’m surprised at how magnificent it all turned out to be. When I saw her, I was mesmerized by the radiance and aura coming from her and couldn’t take my eyes off her. I’m grateful for the strength she gave me to decorate her just the way she wanted, in all her glory.
